All Citys

The boys made it to All Citys swimming this year, which is kind of the Grand Nationals of swimming in Seattle. The top 6 fastest swimmers in each stroke are pulled from the 16 clubs in Seattle. We have about 150 that swim in our club, and only 14 of em went and 8 of the 14 were on relays. So, 6 kids swimming individuals, and Milo got in with two events, freestyle and breast. He was seated 5th in both, so it wasn't likely that he was gonna be the champ but still. Told him before the meat that if he placed top 3 (which he shouldn't have) that I would give him a plane ticket that he could use on any trip of mine he wanted to tag along on. Fucker finished third in freestyle, walks out of the pool, pulls his cap and goggles off, throws em at me, smiles and says "YOU owe me a plane ticket!" Then he choked in breast. Mac's relay got 5th in medley for the 8 and unders. After the meat, I had to go home and sit on the throne and blast for a hour as my stomache was in such knots. Soccer Dad status was on high alert there. Pretty kick ass swim summer for them.
