This is from the Friday night talent show at Northbeach. Frank (The Postman-cause he always delivers) and Ethan (The Silent Weapon) close the place down with their version of Wild Thing. Chicks were throwing panties, dudes were just pissed, it was insane how good they were.
As a bonus, in the first few seconds you can see Eddie Spagetti from the Supersuckers setting up their speakers for them.
The afterparty was at Logics house where the Rocker (Rich) sat in on drums and the band Deathopedia took the floor. Bella on vocals, Ethan, Frank, Anders and Quatro (Eddies son) all belted out their version the Ramones Blitzkrieg Bop.

Full weather botch on the hill today, but still rode in the fog and rain for about 4 hours.
Got Dresser on the Freeride FK and he was claiming the "most fun surfy turns of the year." This feedback comes with an asterisk though... as it's slush. Need to ride it on hardpack and bigger jumps.

Franks...our homey. Shit, he's not only Milo's best friend, he's Mac's good friend and to me, that's huge. Especially since Mac's the pesky little brother. Frank don't give a shit though, he's just Frank or Chowda as we call him. Chill, witty and going with the flow.
This winter we got the opportunity to spend more than our fair share of time with Chowda on the hill cause his ole man was dealing with some shit that us ole men have to deal with when we get old.

So Mac's ski's got poached or left or whatever at the Pass back on March 29th. 2 days before his birthday. It was a rad powder day, we just dropped Korn off at the airport and scurried back to the hill to get some. Hooked up with Mervin Pete and had a couple beers. Ended up leaving the ski's at the hill or thought they got stolen. Whatever. I felt bad for Mac cause it was the end of the season, he was ripping and wanted to finish it out on ski's so ended up buying a new set from Porters.
So last Friday, I get a Facebook message from some dude I never met asking me what kind of ski's I lost cause he worked at the pass and found some under a foot of snow on March 31rst. We go back and forth and he does have Mac's ski's, come to find out that Security gave them to him 2 weeks after he turned them in. Well I had gone to lost and found for two weeks every God damn day looking for them with nothing. Then the dude tells me he has a 4 year old, and he just broke his snowboard and was wondering if I could hook him up with one as a finders fee. Hmmm a $400 snowboard for $200 ski's. Good deal.
Things started to seem a little fishy with the whole deal so I went to the head of security and in the end, ended up with this explanation. "Well, I think the whole thing is that he and his family don't have a lot of money and they wanted some ski's for his kid."
Are you fucking kidding me? You just condoned stealing. Which they did as the ski's sat in a corner of the security office with HIS name on them never making it to lost and found where people go to find their lost shit.
Fucking hicks rational. Must sound legit after a good puff of meth. Anyway we got em back and Wiener ripped shit up on em. So fuck you but thank you.

Season ender yesterday at Stevens Pass. In my 25 or so years of having a season pass, it was one for the record books. Sun, fun, tons of people came out to git er done, beers, killer park jumps and the mountain was fast. Family and I made it thru (knock on wood) injury free too. 80 days marked off on the calender for me, 67 for Milo and 54 for Mac. Not bad. Not bad at all...

Griff initially came out for a 1 week stay during Christmas, and stayed two weeks. He came back for a 3 day visit on March 25th, and is leaving tomorrow. He got something like 30 days in at Stevens this winter on a $99 spring pass. And hit EVERY powder day we got. Ohhhh buddy.

Sky-Tucky Design meeting wrap up

What a long ass week. Drove up on Monday from Seattle to Skykomish with a Envoy XL full to the brim of booze, food and supplies for the meeting. 20 dudes from Japan, Finland, Italy, Canada and all over the states were showing up.

Wednesday was a 9.5 hour inside meeting on line directions for 2011/12.

Thursday and Friday were shred days. The entire crew less Blue, Brad and Hor-Hey. They must of not gotten the memo to be at the hill by 10.
As Brad showed up at the hill later in the day, he brought along his friend "Backside Air."
Mike Pragnall is the Canadian Marketing Manager for the brands. He's a good shred and a better skater. Gotta work on that tip grab method. A clear no no.

Snowmo love

Hope you guys are hitting some of this late season blast. We found our way into face shots Saturday and Sunday. I attached a picture of a good buddy, he cased the front side of a pillow floating on top of hill brush, made for a great base shot. The gear is killer. I’m super pumped to be riding Capita and Union gear. Needed to re-loctite the screw on my binding strap, apart from that, top notch. Spreading the gospel daily. Thanks for the hook Johan.

Spring Break SuperPost

Back on the intrawebs after a ten day hiatus at the cabin. First had a little mini Steamboat reunion with Griff and Korn. For Korns 3 day visit all three WA snow conditions showed up. Pow day 1, sunny park laps day 2 and rainy beer runs for day 3. We dropped his ass off at the aeroport and got back to the hill just in time for the start of a re-dick-you-loss week long storm cycle. Shit...we must of pulled 4 feet this past week. Anyway...picts tell it all. Enjoy.
