The other day the boys and I pulled our season passes off the coats and put em to the chains downstairs. Milo's up to 4 season passes now, Mac 3 and this was my 20th. I've got every year except 04/05, when coming back from Euroland my travel bag got poached. Here's a couple hi-lites from the years...1988 Tenny Mountain Certified Snowboarder. Had to cruise around with a SKI Patrol to get this. CB coat. Recognize.
Year 1 in Steamboat. Oakley Grips on my BMX bike, Pilots on my face and headbands. Oaked out.
On the back of the 1990/91 pass is this pict from Transworld. You can see me in the right corner holding Griff by the pants. I've got a orange Oakley headband on here along with some sweet Blades. He shot the below photo.
In 1996 moved to Boulder to work for Wave Rave. Got a Vail card and because I shot photo's for this shitty rag, Colorado Ski Country gave me this VIP pass that got me on any mountain in CO for free.
The Northwave Gold Pass days. Good anywhere in WA. Incredible but photoless.

ReplyDeleteYou know you are old when the early passes dont have barcodes/magnetic strips on them. Next post you should revisit the corresponding outfits/setups that go with the season pass year.
