Shuffle, the boys and I bolted from Seattle on Wednesday with my new best friend Charles to the hill for New Years Eve instead of going out and making party.

Came back to the cabin, had a mellow two cocktails to cheers in 2009 and then to bed because the backside of Stevens had been closed all day and it was dumping like crazy for the last 24 hours. A good sleep was in order, then off to the hill nice and early to kick in oh nine the right way. Pow slashes.

Up and at em early and off to the hill for first chair as there was another 12" on top of two feet to officially start the new year and then the nightmare started. Avys up and down the pass, D.O.T. first says things are closed down until 11AM, then 1PM, then 4 and then indefinitly till January 2nd. The new years drinking that didn't happen the night be4 begins.

Road opens at 9AM on the 2nd, and I'm on the chair by 10AM to fully enjoy a day with Charles E. Slasher. Charles E. is the taller of the two brothers, he stands 164cm tall where his brother Charlie is 158cm in height. You all will get to meet the Slashers soon...
