I was driving home from work last night and this "classic" came on the radio. I'm singing along then all of a sudden I started to feel sick. Sick about how wack the synthesizer bullshit is in this, sick that Diamond Dave signed up for this, sick that it was their last album with Diamond Dave and sick that this song is 23 years old. This was my first concert. Providence Civic Center in 1984. 5 of us drove down in Griffs VW bug, 4 of them were on the Bill Bixby and I got a contact high from being there. The Panama vid was filmed. I think if you look closely, you can see me sitting in the aisle all Hulked up.

ReplyDeleteAnother classic episode #9
Nice math dipshit- it was 1984 not 1994- and why did you go to a Vanhalen concert- was the Thompson Twins sold out? Didn't have enough friend bracelets to get in? Pants too pegged? Faggot
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, maybe I still got some Bill Bixby in the system. Thompson Twins, faggot please. It was all about the Cure and the Smiths. Which was gay enough in itself. But you'd know that.

ReplyDeleteSo then you've seen this too?
The Clash put ice tea in there Jack bottles??? Bollocks!
ReplyDelete1983-Stevie Ray Vaughn opened up for Men At Work at the Coliseum in Porkland, Oregon...AKA god's cuntry. Strange combo, but SRV absolutely killed it. I was 13 and deaf from that day forward.
ReplyDeleteWell.....unless SRV opened up for VH....who GAF?! 13 years old? You were there for Men at Work and were bummed their opening act was SRV and not INXS.
ReplyDeleteSmoked!
ReplyDeleteTails! I go first!
ReplyDeleteCalm it down over there Mr Castaldi. Yep, Dildo at Work is/was GAF, but it was Stevie Ray Vaughn. Kiss woulda been the first, except Porkland had some shitty ordinance against pyrotechnics...unlike Great White.
