Daddy Day Care - Defender Of Kids

The Ole Lady had to go in and get a little thyroid tune up last Thursday. We thought it was gonna be a mellow oil change jobber, but turned out to be a new head gasket. Needless to say, Mom's was pretty messed up afterwords and the Vicodens were going down like Mike and Ike's.
Weekend Fun Dad had to switch over to every day Dad and pull up the slack so Vicoden Mom could recover in peace. Thus 4 days in the Kids Armed Forces for me.

"Huh?  What's my name?  Who are you kid?  Where's the remote control?"
We "dropped" Moms off for the surgury, and off we went to our first activity, our first swim meat of the season.  Always great to see other moms show up in HEELS, trolling for attention.
"Hey, hey you, we're coming after you cause the Big Blue is gonna swim right over you!"  Nice chant and all, but NOPE, no win here.  Blue Ridge Swim Team has lost every swim meat for the last ten years except for one.
Peep Sam.  Part of the Bad Dads Club.  You'd never know it from this photo, but there's evil lurking in this stockbrokers interior.  Oh, and look at his big watch.  That's his rat Jack behind him.  Who is hysterical.
"Hey YO, check it out, I got hairs under my arms."  Cool, that's awesome Jack.  "And you know what else?"  What?  "I got me a couple long hairs growing on my balls too!"  Killer.  Thanks for sharing.
Friday started a new day and Moms wasn't the only one broken off.  We saw this mutt with the CTI at Parkour class in the AM.  Yea.
That's right, PARKOUR class.  Combo of gymnastics, rock climbing, karate and Todd Richards.  They even have parkour sneakers
And to finish off a Friday night in JUNE, why wouldn't you go ice skating?  We drove by the rink on Thursday on our way home from the swim meat, and the Wiener was like "let's go."  So we did.  Mac was a natural, Milo straight up sucked.
Then off to Greenlake on Saturday.  Stock move.

Which lead us to Sunday at Crystal Mountain.  "Hey Dad, take a photo of us in front of Mt. Raindeer."
Of course we were way down south, and were driving by Skate Barn on the way home.  Which I had bought a couple of Groupons from, so why not....skate TWO sessions at.
And here I am at work today.  Finally.  Back to normalcy.
