It ain't the destination, it's the journey...Sort of.

Friday, 2:20PM roll down to Northbeach Elementory to inform 7 year old Mac that the snow is too deep and no he will not be able to jump on the 5:30PM flight from Seattle to Salt Lake with 9 year old brother or Dad. "It's too dangerous son."
2:21PM, full melt down.
2:30PM after hugs and kisses, $40 was exchanged to said son who was going to use it to buy himself a new remote control helicopter and save me the change. Hi5's and off to the airport.
4:30PM dropped off curbside at SeaTac International we go to Delta to check in for our flight. Wave to Mom as she beeps and drives off, turn to the check in person who says "you know the flights delayed till 9PM right?"
4:31PM after 4 calls to the wife who doesn't answer the phone cause she's got the volume at 11, we say fuck it and check in to our flight. Watch Avitar for 3 hours waiting for the flight.
12:35AM arrive in SLC, get to Glen and Jonas house around 1PM. Have a beer and set up a 64 Slasher for me and a 135 Microscope for Milo as the words "it's gonna be deep" come out more than once.
2AM Milo falls asleep.
7AM up and off to the Bird.

Ben got us a room at "the inn." We comfortably slept 13 in this place.
First tram lineup. Lots of Bird loc's still running step in's. Yes step in's, highbackless to boot.
Rode and met Forrest for the first time. We've been internet "friends" for the last couple of years. Good peeps. See you in WA Forrest.
This is the look of, really pow in MAY???!!!
Tram bar, $5 for a beer and a shot. Texas dude, Forrest, Tony, Glen and Pelli-Knee-Grow.
After shred walkway gap session. Milo and Jonas spent a couple hours on this thing. Jonas booting it.
Back in 05 was the last trip a bunch of dudes took to Snowbird. Maxx Von Marbod was on that trip and Ben hi-jacked his first round Option Northshore. It's still in use, Maxx.
Milo walkway gapper.
Jo-gnar.
Lindsey is the devil, and she drinks devil water. We're getting a Lojack put on her next trip.
Tony Hadar did this all weekend.
Two pee's in a pod. Jo-Gnar and Milo.
Full trams.
Ben with his arms in the air like he just don't care. He does though.
Kid posse, Max and Sam (Forrests boys) along with Milo and Jonas. Eric Lienes and I.
Mule rode with us all day yesterday. Pretty impressive that he hung with us start to finish, on the best day of the season with 9, 10, 12 and 13 year old boys. Last run of the day, I'm on Max's and Jonas asses (13 and 12 year old) talking shit sayin "you can't lose the old man, lets go ladys" while feeling someone creeping on my ass the whole time. Shit was so tight that I couldn't turn around to look who it was but I could hear them laughing. Ends up it was Eric, getting a kick out of the whole deal. Thanks for the treat Mule, Milo will remember it forever.
Ben and Glen. Glen won the big nose contest by a nose, with me getting second and Shnoz Pelli-Knee-Grow coming in third. Air was pretty thin with us hanging together.
Forrest loves his camera. Ben purposely kept the posse moving so Forrest couldn't post up and shoot. "Hurry up and roll before Forrest gets out his camera!" Fucker.
Season ender face. "Hey Dad, can we fly out here next weekend to shred?"
63 hours into our journey, we'd ridden 86" of new snow, shredded 2 days, ridden in a posse up to 15 that stuck together and moto'd our asses off, puked, got lost in the Cliff hotel, swam, got sidelined due to tram breakdown, walkway gap jumped, met internet bro's in person, rode with Mule and slept a total of 17 hours. All this on May 2nd and3rd. This shit was too good, so it is OFFICIALLY ending my 2009/10 season on a real high note. That Bybee, is a CLAIM.

Now I wonder how much change I got left from Mac...

  3. That's the way to finish it strong. Sorry to hear about the nose contest. Remember, it's not the size of the nose that matters.
