Isn't that guy a big wave surfer?

LTD KYLE - "Johan, you got two boxes over there."
Me - "Sweet. One from VZ, and what the...one from Wave Rave Mammoth?"

Open the box and pull out this bad boy. A destroyed Steepwater 164.5 signed by none other than the man himself, Steve Klassen. Stoked, I start showing randumbs in the warehouse the stick to see if they would share in my enjoyment. All of them except for Joel gave me the dumb look of "who???" Shawn McKay was even in the warehouse rummaging thru the Defcon Gloves picking out a box of shit and he was like "Steve Klassen, isn't that guy a big wave surfer?" I was blown away. People it's time to learn some fucking snowboard history.

Steve Klassen is the not only the owner of Wave Rave Mammoth and Steepwater Snowboards but he's like three time Valdez Alaska King of the Hill and two time Verbier Extreme champ. Go find a copy of Riders On The Storm and check out his section with Tex, getting busy SON!

Anyway, I'm freaking stoked to have this bad boy in the collection. Right next to a signed Regis Rolland A Snowboard, Sherman Poppin Snurfer, Damian Sanders Avalanche, Reto Lamm Rad Air and a Banana George Blair stick!

Yea, not one to be all nostalgic and shit but you got to know where you've been to figure out where you want to go. Right?
