The World Champ contacted me and asked for a old skate shot that I made a cool $250 for. Which I know I blew in the bar as soon as I cashed it. Thanks Champ.

Johan/Polish Productions
Back in the Steamboat days, I thought I was quite the photographer. When in actuality I was the only hack on the hill carrying a camera and pointing it at my friends. I didn't go to the bar for a month and spent my saved $ on a Canon EOS 1 camera with a 6 frames per second motor drive. You could burn thru a role of 36 Fuji film in seconds trying to get the shot. Shit, you couldn't help but get a good shot or two with each roll. My subjects consisted of big fish in the small pond, none that ever made it big time. Names like Tamblyn, T-Sabs, Dirty Doozer, Snot Rocket, Griff, Korn, Pinkerman, Sheets and Loubeck. Although I did get lucky here and there and got pictures of Merriman, Ninja, Roach (Monty), Rocket, Czeshin, Ostler and Mr. Todd Richards published. Those pictures actually made my short lived photo career a break even business when you added up the dollars made vs. the dollars spent on equipment and film.
